Gordy's Staff

Danny originally worked for Gordy’s during his high school years and re-joined the Gordy’s sales team in 2012 as a sales consultant.

Prior to the birth of his son he was a commodities trader and member of the Chicago Board of Trade. Spending 10 years abroad and raising his son as a stay at home parent he knew he wanted to get back to the Lake Geneva / Fontana area and all the fun activities on the water that he grew up experiencing. Currently based in our Fontana Showroom as a sales consultant, he also handles all pre-owned boat inventory for Gordy’s. He is an avid boater who currently owns a MasterCraft X10 and a Cobalt A28. Danny enjoys sharing with his son, the experiences he fondly remembers when growing up on the lake and often you will find them surfing & paddle boarding after work.

Jimmy grew up on the end of a towline behind a classic mahogany boat on the Fox River in Barrington, IL. After attending UW Madison he learned he could never be too far from the water. His entrance to the boating community began with a classic boat company in Fontana, Wisconsin. There he learned about boat design, construction techniques and maintenance. In 2011 Jimmy joined Gordy's. He immediately found his fit helping families enjoy the sport he loves so much. With a strong focus on safety, he looks to educate new boaters and help seasoned ones graduate to the next level. Jimmy enjoys boating with his beautiful wife Cassie daughter Becca and his four legged first mate Marty. When not at the lake cruising, you can find him hammering away in the garage on the next project.

Justin grew up boating locally with his family while spending summers on the lake. Their first boat “Sadie” was a 1964 18’ wood lapstrake Thompson. Raised in the N/W suburb of Chicago he spent every spring, summer and fall in Fontana boating and working on the piers at Gordy’s through his High School and College years. After college he lived in Chicago where he worked for Avanade as a software consultant. He rejoined the Gordy's team in 2006 and made the move to Fontana with his family where they currently live, work and play. Justin resides in Fontana with his wife, Sue and their three children Josie, Scout and Vivie. All enjoy the beauty of the lake and the great water focused lifestyle it provides. “Boating by far is our favorite family activity!”

Jack was born and raised in Lake Geneva. He spent summers through high school and college working on the lake where his spirit for boating began. After college, he traveled to different corners around the globe and lived in Utah for many years. These enlightening experiences provided Jack with a deeper perspective as to why Geneva Lake is truly among the most enchanted places on the planet, ultimately drawing him back a few short years ago. “There’s no place like home and being part of the Gordy’s team is the cherry on top.”

Max has always had a love for the outdoors and especially in the boating lifestyle. Growing up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, it was only an hour drive for his family’s weekend getaways to Lake Geneva. Max started as a Gordy Boy in High School, and joined Gordy’s full time after graduating from college in 2014. In college, Max played on the golf team and has had experience coaching in junior golf programs. Here at Gordy’s, he has served as a marina manager, member of the service team and now part of the sales team.

Max is very passionate about the Boating Lifestyle and all water sports.  You will always find him around Gordy’s or performing in the Twin Lakes Aquanut Water Ski Shows!  If you ever have questions on boards, skis, gear, or boats, he is your guy!
