Are you or is someone you know looking to put their college learning to the test and apply their education thorough an exciting summer internship opportunity? Look no farther than Gordy’s Boats. We are actively seeking motivated interns to join our 2021 team of Marketing, Sales and Service associates.

Through our 8 - 12 WEEK (based on school schedules) summer internship, students can discover all our industry has to offer. Our interns are given hands-on, holistic view of what it takes to be a part of the Gordy’s family. Since 1955 we have prided ourselves on the tradition of providing fun in the sun on Lake Geneva and you can be a part of our continued story.

We strongly believe in developing a dynamic, creative and driven team that will become key assets in the continued growth of Gordy’s. This is a unique opportunity to gain broad experience in the social media/digital marketing field, have responsibility for a variety of projects and engage with various groups across Gordy’s.

Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with the Marketing and Sales team to create and manage content (including but not limited to: web, email marketing campaigns, social media and event promotions for multiple uses across all communication channels.

Collaboratively develop content for marketing materials that build brand recognition and trust for existing and prospective customers.

Stay on top of key social media trends as well as trends in the boating industry and communicate them to the team on a regular basis.

Other administrative functions as needed.

Qualifications:

Strong computer skills

Self-starter who can work in a lean, changing, fast-paced environment.

Ability to collaborate with other interns, employees and customers

Strong ability to plan and prioritize

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong time management; ability to multitask
